HAWL Update

There is some more headway on the house this week. The appliances are going in - the Bosch dishwasher and the microwave have been put in place.  By the end of the week the countertops can be scheduled to be measured!  Whoo Hoo!

And more .... the cabinet over the peninsula has been hung. The countertop will be the same white quartz as the rest of the kitchen.  I ordered white pull down cellular shades for the windows too!

The peninsula cabinets are only 24" deep but there will be an overhang on the living room side of 6" and the end of the counter of the same depth. That makes a better area for a breakfast bar sort of setup.

And a little bonus pic of the small bookshelf built on the back of the pantry cabinet to ease the transition to the wall behind. Cool!
