Plans change sometimes. Originally this was the journal of my remodel of a small home in Hideaway, Texas; first as a rental and then for my eventual retirement home. I've purchased another house in the same area so this little house will make someone else a nice cozy home! I closed on the cottage and hope the new owner loves the little house like I did. My next blog will be about the new house and what I am doing to it so stay tuned.

White HAWL Cottage Photos These are photos from previous MLS listings when the house was sold twice since 1975 - Quite rectangular about 24' x 48' (including the carport) and sits on just over 1/3 acre lot.
The large deck on the front wraps around the house and down the back. More deck pics coming!
